She was daughter-in-law to Mr. Cliff and Teresa Rice of Gainesville, Georgia, niece to Maryann Wangusi of Arizona, Dr. Penny Njoroge of Alabama, Terry Kairu of Nairobi, cousin to Ngure Rebo, Andrew Maina, Kairu Rebo, and Helen Sakwa.
