Susan Njoki wa Ndegwa Memorial Service in the USA

 

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we inform you of the promotion to glory of Njoki wa Ndegwa from Dallas, Texas in United States of America

 

Njoki wa Ndegwa was the founder and lead presenter at Jambo Radio Network.

 

Njoki wa Ndegwa was a former presenter with Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) and Kameme FM in Kenya

Njoki Wa Ndegwa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. She successfully combated the disease and was given a clean bill of health.

 

In October 2016, she was diagnosed with Metastatic Brain Tumor. She underwent surgeries and treatment at Parklands Hospital.

 

 

In September 2017, she lost her voice and mobility due to aggressive Metastatic Brain Tumors.

 

Unfortunately she succumbed to Cancer on Friday, February 16th, 2018

 

She was loving mother to Kenneth Ndegwa, Edwin Gitonga, Patrick Maina and Alfred Njogu.

 

Daughter of the late Teresa Wangui, and also Collnelius & Leah Ndegwa of Kabazi town in Nakuru County.

 

Sister to Grace Wanjiru (Nyeri), Judith wambui Gathecha (Nairobi), Esther Ng'ang'a (Kabatini), Leah Wambui (Nakuru), Isabel Wangechi Mwangi (Nairobi), the late Martin Maina( Nyeri), Julia Njeri Gatugi (Nairobi), Mary Wanjiku (Nairobi), Cornellious Ndegwa (Ng’arua), and George Mwangi (Nairobi). Grandmother to Alma Njoki.

Family, friends and well-wishers are meeting at the home of Francis and Jane Muhia every evening from 6:00pm to console one another and to prepare to give our sister Njoki an honorable homegoing.
